Banana whole wheat bread sandwich prepared by toasting whole wheat bread and sandwiching banana slices. Honey is the spread we use here. This is an excellent kids breakfast item.

Ingredients
  

Ingredients:

  • Whole grain bread – 4 to 6 slices
  • Banana one big
  • Honey as required
  • Ghee/Butter for toasting

Instructions
 

Recipe:

  • Peel banana and cut into thin slices
  • Toast bread slice on both sides in a toaster or tawa by applying ghee or butter
  • When it turns golden and crispy apply honey and spread it.
  • Arrange banana slices as shown in picture on top of a toasted and honey applied slice.
  • Place the second slice and press it gently.
  • Apply honey on top of second slice and repeat the same for next layer.
  • Double layered Honey banana sandwich is ready.

Notes

Tips/notes: You can make single layer sandwich also using the same procedure Instead of honey, Nutella or any chocolate syrup also can be replaced Toasting gives the bread slice a firm texture to hold the sandwich
